About card payment fees

When customers pay invoices via Stripe, standard Stripe processing fees apply (2.9% + 30¢). Spanner earns a small platform commission on payments regardless of your plan. This keeps Stripe payments available to all users — even on the free plan.

Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes. The free plan has no time limit. You can create up to 5 invoices (quotes + jobs combined) and use all sharing and payment features forever.

What happens when I hit the 5-invoice limit?

You'll be prompted to upgrade to Pro. Your existing invoices remain accessible — you just can't create new ones until you upgrade.

How does Pro billing work on iOS?

iOS subscriptions are billed via Apple In-App Purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the App Store settings.

How does Pro billing work on Android?

Android subscriptions are billed via Stripe. You can manage or cancel from the Account tab inside the app.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — new accounts get a free trial period so you can experience Pro features before committing. Trial details are shown in-app.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime from the App Store (iOS) or Account tab (Android). You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
