Do I need a website to use the booking system?
No. Spanner gives you a standalone booking link that works on its own. Share it on social media, WhatsApp, or your Google Business profile.
Does my customer need the Spanner app to book?
No. The booking form is a mobile-friendly web page. Customers fill it in from any browser — no download or account required.
Can I customise the booking form?
The form collects name, phone, email, job description, and preferred date. Mechanic accounts also collect vehicle details. Custom fields are on the roadmap.
What happens after I accept a booking?
The booking appears as a job in your Spanner jobs list. When you complete the work, open the job and create the invoice directly from it.
Is the booking system free?
Yes. The booking system is included on both the free and Pro plans. No separate subscription needed.
Can I pause or disable bookings?
Yes. You can disable your booking link from Account settings when you're at capacity or not taking new work.
